14. Additional product-specific information for MNForVet and MNForPet
MNForVet is a cloud-hosted veterinary practice and information management system used by veterinary clinics to manage operational, customer, pet, appointment, and financial records. MNForPet is a related mobile application that allows pet owners to access selected information and services made available by their veterinary clinic.
14.1 Information involved in these services
When MNForVet and MNForPet are used, the information involved may include:
- Owner information such as name, email address, phone number, address, and account details.
- Clinic-related information needed to connect users to the correct veterinary clinic.
- Pet information and related records maintained by the clinic.
- Appointment history, booking requests, prescriptions, laboratory results, imaging results, invoices, balances, and related service information.
- Device and app information needed to support mobile app access, notifications, and diagnostics.
14.2 Roles and responsibilities
Veterinary clinics using MNForVet are generally responsible for the information they collect, enter, manage, and maintain in connection with their own clients, patients, and operations.
MN Software Solutions provides the software and related technical services used to support those clinics and deliver the MNForVet and MNForPet experience.
14.3 Authentication and access
MNForVet and MNForPet may use third-party identity and authentication services, including Auth0, to support secure sign-up, sign-in, and account access management.
14.4 Notifications and diagnostics
MNForPet may use notification and technical support services to deliver app notifications, maintain reliability, and identify crashes or service issues.
14.5 Account deletion and retained records
If a user requests deletion of an MNForPet account, the mobile app account and related app access may be deleted or deactivated, subject to legal, security, fraud prevention, and operational requirements.
However, records maintained by the veterinary clinic in MNForVet or related clinic systems, including pet medical records, appointment history, prescriptions, invoices, and similar operational records, may continue to be retained by the clinic as part of the clinic's business, care, or legal recordkeeping obligations.
If a user wants to correct, update, or request deletion of clinic-managed records where permitted, the user should contact the relevant veterinary clinic directly.
